BSc in Business Informatics
Business Informatics is a hybrid major, covering several scientific fields. It differs from the training material of similar majors that have been introduced and applied so far, in the sense that the significantly different knowledge bases of Economics, Finance, IT and cognitive theories differ from each other. This new programme of WBS now brings together these seemingly independent disciplines and provides a mutually supportive transition between the affected areas. And this is precisely what the world economy needs, because we experience every day that even the newest theories cannot keep up with the distorting effect of the speculative mechanisms that do not produce value, but weigh on the productive economic processes. We took on the task of polishing the philosopher’s stone in order to finally flash the brilliance of logical thinking in the brusque world of financial services, thus our Business Informatics graduates are recognized and sought after all over the world.
