BSc (Hons) COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH FOUNDATION YEAR
Overview
Big data, big dreams
There’s more than one way into a successful computing career. If you don’t meet the entry requirements for a degree course, but have the experience, maturity and determination to work in the sector, then this course is for you.
This foundation year isn’t a freestanding degree – but it’s the perfect preparation for one. Think of it as the first year in a four-year period of studying that will lead to a Computer Science undergraduate degree programme at LSBU (upon successful completion of the foundation year).
Degree pathways
From 2025, you’ll have a number of exciting degree pathways to choose from. Whether you choose a particular specialism or the broad Computer Science degree, there are a range of options to help you reach your own career and personal goals.
You have the flexibility to choose your degree pathway later on in your studies (rather than when applying for your foundation year programme). Degree courses include:
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Cyber Security)
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Data Engineering)
