Why study this course?

This program offers specialised training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics, incorporating related fields such as sensors, actuators, control systems, IoT, software programming, and user-centred design. Through hands-on experiences in laboratories and immersive learning environments, students acquire both technical knowledge and transferable skills. The curriculum encompasses foundational engineering topics like Electronic Systems, Programming, AI, Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, and Network Engineering during the first two years. In the third year, students can specialise in areas such as Applied Robotics, Computer Vision, Bio-inspired AI, or Sensors and Control, while also completing an individual project.

Teaching methods integrate lectures, tutorials, laboratory workshops, and blended learning via platforms like WebLearn and Blackboard. Assessments comprise tests, exams, coursework, and vivas. Comprehensive resources and support are accessible through a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for all modules.
